Pastor Balogh began his training
for the ministry with his enrollment at Michigan Lutheran Seminary
in Saginaw, MI. The next step was Northwestern Lutheran
College of Watertown, Wisconsin where he received his Bachelors
of Liberal Arts Degree and then continued his education at Wisconsin
Lutheran Semimary in Mequon, Wisconsin where he earned his Masters
of Theology degree.
Pastor Balogh's first assignment
was to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville. By the grace
of God he is still serving this wonderful congregation and its
people.
In 1996 Pastor Balogh married
Raetta and the Lord has blessed the Balogh's with their daughter
Kayla.
Hobbies for Pastor are numerous.
Aside from hunting, gardening, motorcycling and about everything
else there are two hobbies that he especially enjoys. The
first is woodworking of all kinds. From carvings to furniture
have all been made. He is especially proud of the 3 in one
crib he made for his daughter as well as the other furniture pieces
he has done. His other hobby is Tang Soo Do.
Currently Pastor Balogh is a 3rd Degree Black Belt with Pan Am
Tang Soo Do.
Currently Pastor Balogh is also
serving as the Secretary for the Northern Conference of the Michigan
District.
